Shots fired Wednesday night on Business Loop 70

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police said nothing was hit officers found evidence of gunfire Wednesday night on Business Loop 70.

Officers were sent to a shots-fired call in the 1200 block of Business Loop 70 West a little before 8 p.m., according to a Columbia Police Department news release. Witnesses say they saw a man in a white shirt shooting over the top of a silver car from the rear passenger window, the release says.

A CPD spokesperson did not identify the shooter but said the man should be considered armed and dangerous. Columbia police did not say what the man was allegedly shooting at.
