COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia Police confirmed Saturday that one man died in the Friday afternoon shooting at White Castle in Columbia.

Louis W. Hart, 56, died in the hospital from gunshot wounds after the Friday shooting, according to Columbia Police.

Police found two men who had been shot after they were called to a White Castle on Clark Lane in east Columbia on Friday. A Columbia Police Department spokeswoman said the men were taken to a hospital and police aren't seeking any more suspects.

"Initial information gathered by investigators at the scene indicated that the two males were shooting at each other," reads a Columbia Police news release.

The restaurant was closed Friday afternoon. An ABC 17 News reporter saw the business reopen around 4:30 p.m. Friday before closing again shortly after 9 p.m.

A sign seen on the business' door Saturday evening states the business plans to remain closed until May 19.

"We are closed at this time and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 19. We apologize for any inconvenience," the sign reads.

A tow truck began towing away a truck and a Honda car from the scene at 3:09 p.m.
