Jefferson City man indicted on federal child porn charges

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Jefferson City man who was previously charged with child sex crimes in Cole County was indicted by a federal grand jury on Tuesday, according to a press release from the Department of Justice.

Jonathan Wong, 25, was charged with two counts of using a victim younger than 12 years old to produce child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography. He has a hearing set for 10 a.m. Monday, according to court documents. He is currently being held at the Cole County Jail without bond.

Wong’s case in Cole County no longer appears on Casenet. He was charged in February with first-degree child molestation, statutory sodomy and incest.
