A Macks Creek Man was arrested on Tuesday after he was accused of downloading and sharing child pornography.

Kenneth Daniel Jamison, 37, was charged on Thursday with two counts of first-degree promoting child pornography and eight counts of second-degree promoting child porn. He is being held at the Camden County Jail without bond. An initial court appearance is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at the Camden County Courthouse.

According to a Camden County Sheriff’s Office press release and court documents, Jamison allegedly downloaded and shared child porn files with other users on the social media application KIK. The investigation began on April 22 after detectives received a Cyber Tipline Report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tipline indicated that files were shared in January, according to court documents.

The release states that there is currently no indication that any of the victims in the files shared were local residents.
