Moberly man charged with first-degree domestic assault

MOBERLY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Moberly man was charged with first-degree domestic assault on Tuesday.

George Kenneth Crouse, 28, was arrested on Monday and was placed on a 24-hour hold in the Randolph County Jail. A warrant was issued and served on Tuesday and a $10,000 bond was set.

The warrant states he is not allowed to go to the Franklin Street residence where the assault allegedly occurred. An initial court appearance was held on Tuesday.

According to the complaint, Crouse was accused of trying to cause serious injuries by striking, choking, biting and wrestling the victim over broken glass. A probable cause statement was not available.
