Chase leads from Columbia to Jefferson City Airport

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A chase that began in Columbia ended with a suspect's arrest at the Jefferson City Airport.

The chase started a little before 1 p.m. when a person was robbed in the 500 block of Conley Road, Boone County Sheriff's Office spokesman Brian Leer said. Columbia police found the suspect's vehicle near Broadway and Conley Road and a chase began, Leer said.

The sheriff's office, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Callaway County Sheriff's Office helped with the chase. The suspect was arrested at the Jefferson City Airport.

Leer referred other questions to the Columbia Police Department. A CPD spokesperson was not available late Tuesday.
