COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Linn, Missouri, man pleaded guilty to two counts of murder last week in a 2021 double killing.

Warren M. Taylor will be sentenced March 25 after he pleaded guilty in Osage County to two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of Leonard Gerloff, 59, and Pauline Gerloff, 56, at their Chamois home.

Authorities found Pauline Gerloff with an apparent gunshot wound to the head and Leonard Gerloff lying face down with blood on him. A witness alleged saw Taylor's truck leaving the house and investigators say they found Taylor's truck at a Chamois bar with blood on it.

He was originally charged with two counts each of first-degree murder and armed criminal action.
