Columbia woman charged, accused of stealing more than $4,600 in lottery tickets, winnings

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Columbia woman has been charged stealing after officials claim she stole $4,665 in lottery tickets and its winnings in September.

Andrewyon Jordan, 30, was charged with two counts of stealing more than $750. A criminal summons was issued Thursday and an initial court appearance is set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4.

The probable cause statement claims that Jordan took a total of 55 scratch-off lottery tickets at a redacted location in Boone County between Sept. 24-30. The statements says Jordan was working at the redacted location.

The value of the tickets and cashed-out winnings were valued at $4,665, according to the statement.

A loss-prevention officer alleged in the probable cause statement that she looked at footage showing Jordan take the lottery tickets from their dispensers and hide them.
