A Cameron man who was accused of assaulting two women in 2021 in Camden County was found guilty of three felonies on Tuesday.

Dustin Burkhart, 40, was found guilty of first-degree assault, first-degree burglary and armed criminal action. His sentencing will take place 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9. He was previously charged with first-degree assault, first-degree burglary, second-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action.

According to previous reporting, he was accused of attacking two women on Dec. 17, 2021, at a home in the 100 block of North Dale Drive in Camdenton. Burkhart allegedly punched both women repeatedly in the face because he thought they were stealing from him.
