Police: Teenager shot in Versailles on Sunday night
VERSAILLES, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Versailles Police Department has stated in a social media post that a 19-year-old man was shot Sunday night in the 200 block of North Hunter Street.
According to the post, police responded at 10:24 p.m. and spoke with the man with a gunshot wound to his lower torso. Police said the injury “was a result of an altercation with another male subject at the residence,” but did not describe the interaction. The other male was arrested; his name and age were not stated in the post.
The victim’s name was also not stated, but police said he is stable.
