Teenager arrested in Mexico after allegedly robbing pizza delivery driver

MEXICO, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 17-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday night after he allegedly robbed someone delivering pizza, according to a Wednesday press release from the Mexico Department of Public Safety.

No injuries were reported, according to the release. Around 7:26 p.m., law enforcement learned about a theft that occurred in the 500 block of West Boulevard, the release states.

While delivery person – as described in the release – was attempting to make a delivery, a male took the food and ran. The 17-year-old was arrested around 9:30 p.m., according to the release. He was processed and then released to a guardian and is pending charges, the release states.

An 18-year-old man was also identified with possible charges pending, the release states. Neither teenager was named in the release.
