A Mexico, Missouri, man was charged on Thursday in three separate cases.

Kaden Baugh, 19, was charged in one case with sexual exploitation of a minor and second-degree child porn possession on Oct. 5. A warrant was issued and he will be held without bond. A court date was not set.

In another case, he was charged with stealing a gun, stealing $750 and second-degree tampering with property for an alleged incident from Jul 22. A criminal summons was issued and an initial court appearance is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5.

In a third set of charges stemming from an alleged incident on July 24, he was charged with four misdemeanors: Stealing, stealing with a value lower than $150 and two counts of second-degree tampering with property. A criminal summons was issued and an initial court appearance was also set for this case at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5.

For the sexual exploitation charges, Baugh consented to a cellphone search on Oct. 6. Law enforcement allegedly found a video showing him doing explicit acts with a minor. The victim had detailed the acts to law enforcement. The metadata from the video indicates it occurred Oct. 5.

An Audrain County Sheriff’s Deputy also found images of guns and messages about him having a gun.

The same day, a search warrant was executed and deputies found items reported several items reported stolen in Baugh’s truck.

On July 24 a victim had reported that items were stolen from a vehicle in Benton City, according to a second probable cause statement. The theft allegedly occurred on July 22. The value of the items – which included a gun, ammunition and magazines – were valued at more than $750, the statement says. Those items were found in Baugh’s truck on Oct. 6 during the search.

The same day, a detective recovered a camera reported stolen that was sold to Tiger Pawn by Baugh on Oct. 3.

Baugh allegedly told law enforcement that he drove a codefendant, Jerry Helton to Benton City because Helton "needed to make money," the probable cause statement says. Baugh allegedly stated he was there when Helton entered vehicles and stole property, including the gun.

Helton was charged on Thursday with stealing a gun, stealing $750 or more and second-degree tampering with property. A criminal summons was issued and an initial court appearance is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5.
