COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man who was charged in September with two counts of first-degree sodomy is now in the Boone County Jail.

Colin Eugene Fair, 22, was charged on Sept. 21. He was brought to the jail on Sunday and is being held without bond. Casenet states he is from Centralia and the probable cause statement says Fair is enlisted in the Army and has been stationed at Fort Drum, New York.

Court documents claim Fair sexually assaulted a girl twice in 2019. The statement says law enforcement met with the victim on Jan. 9, 2023, where she described both alleged assaults.

An initial court appearance was held Monday at the Boone County Courthouse. Fair’s attorney appeared on his behalf, according to court documents.
