A man who was charged in July with first-degree sodomy and first-degree sexual abuse is now in the Boone County Jail.

Dayvion Robinson, 23, was arrested by the Lincolnwood Police Department in Illinois on Sept. 14, according to court records. A notice of extradition was filed by a Boone County assistant Prosecutor on Sept. 18 and Robinson was booked into the Boone County Jail at 7:19 p.m. Sunday. He is being held on a $25,000 bond.

Robinson’s address on Casenet is listed as Columbia, but is stated as being a resident of Lengin, Illinois, according to jail records.

Columbia Police met with the alleged victim on June 13, 2022 for a report of sexual assault that occurred on Jan. 9, 2022, according to the probable cause statement.

The victim told police in June 2022 that there was a delay in the reporting due to an active Title IX investigation, according to the probable cause statement.

The victim said they knew Robinson for three years and they tailgated on Jan. 8, 2022.

The two allegedly went back to a residence and fell asleep on the floor. The victim awoke to be assaulted by Robinson, the probable cause statement says.
