Moberly man charged with several child sex crimes

MOBERLY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Moberly man was charged on Saturday with nearly a dozen child sex crimes.

Logan M Johnson, 25, was charged with three counts of second-degree statutory sodomy, one count of statutory rape, four counts of fourth-degree child molestation, fourth-degree attempted child molestation and attempted tampering with a witness.

Johnson is being held in the Randolph County Jail on a $50,000 bond. An initial court appearance was set for Monday at the Randolph County Courthouse.

According to court documents, Johnson allegedly sexually assaulted an underage victim on Sunday, Sept. 10 and then allegedly tried to dissuade the victim from reporting the incident to law enforcement from Sept. 10-13.
