The University of Missouri System said Wednesday that some students, workers and retirees' information was compromised in a massive hack this summer of a file-transfer system.
The hack has had global effects and the UM System is still investigating how much of its data was taken. But it's just one of the latest of many hacks that have compromised the personal data of millions of Americans.
