BOONVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Boonville man was charged Monday after being accused of an armed robbery that allegedly occurred last week.

Brandon Terrell Rhymes, 37, is charged with first-degree robbery, armed-criminal action and second-degree assault. He is not listed on the Cooper County Jail roster, according to online records. A warrant was issued and a $150,000 bond was set. A court date has not been scheduled.

Rhymes allegedly hit another man in the face with a gun at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, and demanded property from him, according to the probable cause statement. He allegedly took an iPhone 13, Apple watch and a wallet, along with its contents.

Rhymes allegedly forced the man to clear his personal information from the iPhone at gunpoint, the statement says. He then also allegedly took two grams of marijuana from a vehicle.
