COLUMBIA (KMIZ)
The Columbia Police Department said the suspect in an active investigation is now in custody.
CPD's Assistant Chief Lance Bolinger said Brandt Feutz was found on the north side of Boone County hiding in a residence.
Bolinger said Feutz was not armed when Police approached him, and a tip from the resident lead police to the arrest.

Multiple emergency alerts were sent to the public as CPD worked to locate Feutz.
Residents were asked to shelter in place for more than three hours as the Columbia Police Department searched the neighborhood of Old Hawthorne and surrounding areas.
Residents at Old Hawthorne said it was a scary scene for a relatively quiet neighborhood.
Assistant Chief Bolinger briefly mentioned the lockdown and thanked residents for remaining calm.
"I appreciate the community. Obviously when the community goes on lockdown it kind of makes people nervous. I appreciate their patience during this as well." Bolinger said.
Police first shared information Wednesday night about Brandt Feutz saying he is armed and dangerous. A CPD spokesperson said police were seeking Feutz in connection with a police presence on Huntridge Drive, which led to a pursuit and a crash on New Haven Road in south Columbia.
Court documents say Feutz is accused of starting a fire in a family member's garage on Huntridge.
Police told residents Thursday not to answer their doors.
Feutz has several tattoos including along his right eye and neck.

Police used air and land resources to find Fuetz, a CPD spokesman said.
Ashland Police Department posted on social media Wednesday asking the community to keep its eyes out for Feutz. Officers say the Missouri State Highway Patrol pursued Feutz this week on Highway 63 through Ashland.
This is a developing story.
