A Peculiar, Missouri, man faces multiple felony charges after his arrest during a Wednesday traffic stop led to explosives being removed from a storage unit, according to a press release from the Osage Beach Police Department.

Travis Goff, 43, is charged with second-degree drug trafficking and unlawful gun possession. He is being held at the Camden County Jail on a $100,000 bond. An initial court appearance is set for 9:15 a.m. Monday at the Camden County Courthouse.

The press release states a several-month-long investigation was concluded after Goff and two others – who were not listed – were arrested during a traffic stop on Wednesday. Narcotics, drug paraphernalia and a stolen gun from Columbia were allegedly found during the traffic stop, according to the probable cause statement. All three people who were arrested were brought to the Camden County Jail and placed on 24-hour hold.

A search warrant was executed at a storage unit on Executive Drive in Osage Beach, according to the probable cause statement. The statement indicated that Goff had been living in the unit and magazines matching the gun, the statement says.

About 17 explosive blasting caps and three electronic blasting caps were found in the unit. The Missouri State Highway Patrol Bomb Squad removed the explosives. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were also found in the unit, the probable cause statement says.

Goff had a Boone County warrant for his arrest. He was charged Wednesday with two counts of unlawful gun possession from an alleged incident in January. A $50,000 bond was set.
