Arkansas man seriously injured in Callaway County crash

MILLERSBURG, Mo. (KMIZ)

An Arkansas man suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle crash Wednesday on Interstate 70 near mile marker 139 in Callaway County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash occurred as a 2017 Indian motorcycle – driven by Richard Millsap, 50, of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas – went off the left side of the road, overturned and hit a cable barrier, the report states.

Millsap was brought to University Hospital by ambulance. He was not wearing a helmet. An 11-year-old passenger also suffered minor injuries in the crash. The girl was also taken to University Hospital by ambulance. She was wearing a helmet, the report states.

The motorcycle had extensive damage.
