Kansas City-area road rage suspect arrested in Mid-Missouri
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A teenager wanted for allegedly shooting and killing another man Wednesday in a Kansas City-area road rage shooting was arrested Thursday in Saline County.
Charles J. Smith, 19, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, was arrested in Sweet Springs on Thursday after the deadly shooting of Gary L. Denham, 53, in Oak Grove, the Missouri Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
The sheriff of neighboring Pettis County shared a photo of the arrest by a state trooper and a U.S. Marshal on Facebook.
Authorities tracked down Smith after he was captured on surveillance video at a motel in Sweet Springs on Thursday morning, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop A.
