Audrain County man arrested, charged, accused of stabbing two people

A Farber man has been arrested and charged after law enforcement claimed he stabbed two people
Daniel E. Green, 44, is charged with two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of armed-criminal action and tampering with physical evidence. He is being held at the Audrain County Jail without bond, according tot he Audrain County Sheriff's Office. An initial court appearance is set for 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Audrain County Courthouse.
The Sheriff's Office said on its Facebook page that deputies were dispatched Tuesday night to an address in Farber after it received a report of that two people were stabbed.
The Sheriff's Office said deputies found two people with stab wounds. They were brought to hospitals in Columbia by ambulance. The Sheriff's Office says they were both in "serious, but stable condition."
The Sheriff's Office said the two victims had gone to a relative's house in Farber, and when they arrived and knocked at the door, the door was opened and they were immediately attacked and stabbed with scissors by Green.
