Eastern Missouri deputies on the search for five jail escapees
ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY Mo. (KMIZ)
The St. Francois County Detention Center is on the lookout for five inmates who escaped from its facility on Tuesday evening.
Kelley McSean, Dakota Pace, Aaron Wade Sebastian, Lujuan Tucker and Michael Wilkins entered a secured cell and forced their way through a secured door on Tuesday, according to St. Francois County Sherriff's Department Facebook page. The inmates then went to the jail roof where they eventually escaped.
The sheriff's office says the inmates then went to the Centene Corporation and stole a gray 2009 Scion TC from the parking lot.
The inmates left in the stolen vehicle and were last seen on camera traveling southbound, the sheriff's department says. The prisoners were also seen on camera removing their orange clothes and wearing white thermal leggings and white boxer/basketball shorts, the Facebook post says. Tucker was seen wearing a black T-shirt.
All of the escaped inmates were in jail on felony charges, according to the sherriff's office.
Tucker, Sebastian and McSean are known sex offenders held for crimes committed while in the Missouri Department of Corrections Sexual Offender Treatment Facility, the sheriff's office said.
