Police find nothing after road closure in east Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police say they found nothing after they closed part of an east Columbia residential street Tuesday.

Emergency dispatchers sent a public alert saying Woodridge Drive was closed from North Evergreen to South Evergreen Lane because of a "police incident." The message did not include details about the incident.

Police at the scene told an ABC 17 News reporter that officers were sent to an assault call but found no victim or suspect.
