Man accused of calling in bomb threat to daycare pleads guilty, released on time served

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man accused of calling in a bomb threat to his child's daycare in May pleaded guilty in court Friday and will walk out of jail a free man.

Alexander Green called in a threat to KinderCare on Ash Street in May, causing a mass evacuation of children and adults from the daycare.

Green plead Friday to lesser charges agreed on by the prosecution and defense for his terroristic threat and harassment charges. Green is to be released Friday with 90 days of time served.

In a call to the daycare, Green allegedly told an employee that he put a bomb in the building to kill a person whose name is redacted in court documents. He was arrested in Atchison, Kansas in May.

Green's trial was set for next week.
