COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Lake-area real estate agent accused in a murder-for-hire plot had her bond revoked this week and will have to spend time in jail.

Leigh Ann Bauman of Lake Ozark will have to serve 96 hours in the Camden County Jail starting Aug. 19, according to online court records. Bauman is charged with conspiracy to commit a felony after she was accused of trying to hire someone to kill her mother-in-law last year.

She has been accused of multiple bond violations, including testing positive for THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, and leaving her home against the conditions of her bond. She failed to show up for a hearing in May because she was in rehab, according to her lawyer.

Bauman will also be required to wear and pay for a location monitor, according to online court records.

A trial is scheduled for next February.
