Columbia man charged with armed robbery
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Columbia man was charged with three felonies after he allegedly robbed another person at gunpoint in south Columbia this week.
Prosecutors charged DeAngelo J. Wallace, 19, on Wednesday with armed robbery, first-degree burglary and armed criminal action after the Tuesday incident on East Old Plank Road. The victim told police that three people robbed him of a PlayStation 4 and a pair of Air Jordan sneakers in his bedroom at gunpoint, according to a probable cause statement.
Two witnesses identified Wallace as one of the robbers, according to the statement.
Police arrested Wallace at his home on Bethel Church Road, the statement says. Officers say they found the Jordans at the scene.
Wallace was in the Boone County Jail late Thursday without bond. A judge ordered a bond investigation at Wallace's initial appearance Thursday, according to court records.
