Fulton man charged with child porn and statutory rape

FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

An Audrain County prosecutor has charged a Fulton man with multiple crimes after police find him in a hotel with a naked 16-year-old runaway.

Lorenzo Parks is charged with possession of child porn and second-degree statutory rape.

On Tuesday, Fulton police were notified that a 16-year-old runaway may be at the Amerihost Inn in Fulton. The victim’s father reported finding 18 semi-nude and fully nude photos sent to Parks from her phone, according to court documents.

When police arrived at the hotel, they found the victim naked and Parks in just gym shorts in a room.

During an interview with police, Parks admitted to knowing the victim was underage and he would sext her regularly, according to court documents.

Parks is being held at the Audrain County Jail. A bond hearing is scheduled for Friday for Parks.

Parks does not have a defense attorney currently listed in online court documents.
