Prosecutors charge Columbia man accused of firing gun inside of apartment

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Boone County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has filed charges against a Columbia man accused of firing a gun inside of an apartment.

Prosecutors charged Shaune A. Price, 34, of Columbia, last week with felony counts of unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action and shooting at a person, motor vehicle or building.

According to court documents, Price pointed a handgun at the victim inside of an apartment in the 100 block of Clinkscales Road early New Year's Eve. Price reportedly told the victim the gun was unloaded before he fired the weapon into a mirror in the bathroom.

Police said no one was hurt.

According to the court documents, the victim was also involved in an argument outside of a bar in downtown Columbia earlier that night. Police said an unknown person fired a gun during the argument. No one was hurt.

According to court documents, Price has warrants for his arrest in Boone County and in Ohio. A Boone County judge set his bond at $20,000.
