An Audrain County armed robbery suspect was arrested in Jefferson City following a weeks-long investigation.

Kevin Jackson is accused of an early November armed robbery.

Audrain County prosecutors charged Jackson with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action after a Nov. 6 armed robbery at the Oak Crest Mobile Home Park on Audrain County Road 9832.

Two juveniles told deputies that they met with Jackson to buy a gun, according to a probable cause statement. Instead, Jackson pulled a gun and took everything one of the victims had, including $100, some marijuana and a gun, the statement says.

At the time of his arrest, Jackson was in possession of two firearms, one of which was reported stolen from Audrain County. Jackson remains in the Audrain County Jail on warrants with no bond set for the offenses alleged.
