One dead after Sedalia shooting

SEDALIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police say a 32-year-old man is dead after a shooting Friday in Sedalia.

Officers found Tylar Simon with a gunshot wound at his home on Kentucky Avenue at about 3:30 a.m., the Sedalia Police Department said in a news release. Police tried life-saving treatment but Simon was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have made no arrests and released no other details about Simon's death. Police didn't call the death a homicide but said they're investigating and following up on leads.
