Columbia man charged after shooting behind gas station

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Boone County prosecutor has charged a Columbia man after he allegedly shot a gun multiple times behind a gas station on Tuesday.

Noah Larson is charged with unlawful use of a weapon.

A witness told police that she heard gunshots behind the Break Time gas station at 3200 East Stadium Blvd. The witness said she heard more gunshots and then saw a grey Honda drive off in a hurry.

During the investigation, police found a spent round in the parking lot of the gas station.

According to court documents, the police used video footage to help identify the Honda’s driver, Larson.

During an interview with Larson, Larson told police that he fired the gun multiple times.

Larson has a $100,000 cash or surety bond at the Boone County Jail.

Larson has a docket hearing scheduled for Wednesday and a preliminary hearing scheduled for Jan. 6.
