Vehicle, home damaged when shots fired near Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A home and a vehicle were hit with bullets southwest of Columbia on Friday, the Boone County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies were called to a shots-fired incident in the 4400 block of West Bellview Drive late Friday morning, sheriff's office Capt. Brian Leer said. A home and a vehicle were hit by bullets but no one was injured, he said.

Leer said no arrests have been made. The sheriff's office did not have a description of the shooter to release, he said.
