Columbia police arrest one after Friday afternoon stabbing

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

An 18-year-old is arrested for domestic assault after a stabbing in the 200 block of Apple Tree Ct. at 1:10 Friday afternoon.

Columbia police responded to a stabbing at the 4500 block of Bethel St. but learned the stabbing occurred on Apple Tree Ct.

Police found the 26-year-old victim with moderate injuries and was taken to an emergency room in a personal vehicle.

Officers located one adult male victim, 26, with moderate injuries. The victim was transported to a local emergency room in a personal vehicle.

Police arrested Jayce Phillips for second degree domestic assault.

According to jail records, Phillips bond is set at $4,500 cash or surety.
