Video shows car nearly hit trooper’s vehicle before crashing

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A dashboard camera video released Sunday shows a close call for a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper over the weekend.

The video shows a crash Saturday at the 121-mile marker of Interstate 70 in Boone County. The view from inside the patrol cruiser shows a car narrowly miss hitting the cruiser before going into the median and overturning, ending up back on the highway.

The patrol said no one was injured in the crash but the driver of the car that nearly hit the trooper's vehicle was arrested on suspicion of DWI.
