Mexico business robbed at gunpoint

MEXICO, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mexico police say a business was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon.

Police did not name the business in the 2700 block of South Clark Street in a news release. A man entered the business, pointed a gun at an employee and got away with about $300, the Mexico Department of Public Safety said in a news release.

Police described the robber as a little more than 6 feet tall and clean-shaven, wearing a dark jacket, dark baseball cap, blue jeans and large sunglasses. He might have been seen in the area with a black umbrella, according to a news release.

No one was hurt.
