Car crash leads to power outage near Clark Lane

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

UPDATE:

According to the Ameren Outage Map, the power has been restored in the area.

Authorities also removed the car.

ORIGINAL:

Several Columbia residents are without power Thursday evening after a stolen car crashed into a ground transformer box near Clark Lane.

Boone Electric Cooperative is on scene restoring power for 17 residents. Officials with the co-op, report more people will be without power while the car is moved from the scene.

Columbia Police are on scene investigating the crash.
