Columbia woman charged on multiple counts after allegedly stealing from multiple places

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Columbia woman is arrested Wednesday after allegedly burglarizing items from several businesses.

According to multiple probable cause statements, Lacee Adams is accused of burglarizing Robinson's Cleaners, McKnight Tires, Break Time and JD Byrider to name a few.

Adams is accusing of taking $100 worth of stolen items and confronting an employee on Wednesday at one location according to court documents.

While investigating the Wednesday incident, Columbia police began investigating an incident at McKnight Tires.

According to police, Adams was found at a parking lot of 1211 Belmont St with bags of stolen items.

Adams allegedly had stolen items from multiple locations from up to four to five months prior to the most recent arrest.

Adams is charged with three counts of 2nd-degree burglary, two counts of stealing - value less than $150, two counts of stealing - $750 or more, two counts of 1st degree tampering with motor vehicle, 1st-degree property damage and 2nd-degree property damage.

Adams has a $25,000 bond set.

Adams' next court date is next Wednesday and then Jan. 20.
