Men on the run after chase ends in crash near Columbia park
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
UPDATE:
In a press release, the Columbia Police say someone saw the suspects' vehicle driving the wrong way on Providence Road near Park Avenue. Officers stopped the vehicle near Boone Drive and Trinity Place, then as an officer approached the window, the suspects drove off.
A pursuit then followed ending in a crash on East Lathrop Road.
CPD also included they found drugs and a gun in the suspects' truck.

Local authorities were searching for two men near Grasslands Park in Columbia shortly after midnight Monday.
The Boone County Sheriff's Department, Columbia Police Department, and University of Missouri Police Department were all assisting in the search using a drone and K-9 units.
Officers at the scene said a pickup truck led them on a chase on South Garth Avenue before crashing near the park on East Lathrop Road. Two men between the ages of 20 and 30 fled on foot.
They were last seen in neighborhoods surrounding Grasslands Park.
Police told ABC 17 News crews the men are potentially armed and dangerous.
Officers said they also found drug paraphernalia in the truck.
