Fulton man charged with child sex crimes

FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

Fulton police arrested a man on Friday linked to a sexual assault investigation that started earlier this year.

Court documents said Kasey Watson is accused of trying to have sex with a 12-year-old.

According to the court documents, the victim told investigators that Watson touched her and sexually assaulted her in 2018.

Watson is charged with statutory rape of a person less than 14-year-of-age and statutory sodomy of a person less than 14-year-of-age.

Watson's bond has not been set. Online court records say he has a court hearing on Tuesday.
