Armed robbery at Columbia Waffle House leads to one arrest

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

One person has been taken into custody following an armed robbery at a Columbia Waffle house early Saturday morning.

Marcus Glass, Jr., 30, of Columbia was arrested and charged with first degree robbery after Columbia PD detained him on Harvester Road.

Glass Jr., allegedly held a victim at gunpoint and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of cash and his cell phone.

That victim stated the robbery occurred after he went to look for his wife in the Waffle House parking lot and got into an argument with an unknown man.

No injuries were reported. This remains an ongoing investigation and anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Columbia Police Department or CrimeStoppers.
