Columbia police arrest man who escaped from Reality House

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia Police Department arrested one of the three men Thursday who escapedĀ from a halfway house and private jail earlier this month.

According to a news release, police arrested Jamale Marteen, 37, around 1:10 p.m. at a home on Omaha Court. He had an active no bond warrant in connection with the escape.

Marteen is one of three men who escaped Reality House. Tyrone McClaine Jr., 28, turned himself in on Nov. 21. Lawrence Johnson, 35, has not been found.

According to court documents, all three men left the building into the recreation yard and climbed the barbwire fence and escaped.

The Boone County Sheriff's Department removed 20 prisoners from Reality House following the escapes.
