Deputies investigating after man found shot in Pulaski County

PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man was found shot Monday evening.

In a news release, the sheriff's office said deputies were called to the 27000 block of Highway 133 just after 5 p.m. Monday for reports of a person who had been shot.

Deputies found a man with gunshot wounds who was taken to the hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries is unclear.

During their investigation, deputies said the original incident happened in the 28000 block of Spring Road in southwest Pulaski County.

The release said the incident is not believed to be random and the public is not in any danger.

The investigation is ongoing.
