Police find evidence of shots fired in northeast Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police found shell casings while investigating a shots-fired call in northeast Columbia late Saturday.

Officers were sent to a report of shots fired near Moniteau Court at about 11:20 p.m. and found casings in the 2200 block of Ballenger Lane, according to the Columbia Police Department.

Police said there is no description of the shooter available and no other details will be released amid the ongoing investigation.
