Two women charged after theft accusations at Coach outlet

OSAGE BEACH, Mo. (KMIZ)

On Tuesday, Osage Beach Public Safety responded to a theft in progress at the Coach outlet store.

According to court documents, Vernice Wyatt-Sampson and Tyra Watts are accused of going into the outlet store and then taking several things of merchandice.

Wyatt-Sampson first ran out of the store with several items according to court documents.

An employee then told police that she attempted to stop Watts from leaving the store but Watts pushed right past her according to the probable cause statement.

After leaving the store, Miller County Sheriff's deputies found the suspects and took them into custody.

Court documents reveal the duo allegedly stole over $4,000 in merchandise.

Both women are changed with one count of stealing $750 or more.

A third person is referenced in the court documents but has not been charged with any crimes at the time of this story being published.
