Police seek suspects in east Columbia neighborhood

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police blocked some residential streets in an east Columbia neighborhood Thursday after a vehicle chase turned into a foot pursuit.

ABC 17 News crews saw several patrol cars in the area of Wolf Trail and Kirk Hill Road near East St. Charles Road and Interstate 70. Columbia Police Department officers at the scene said they were looking for suspects on foot but provided no other details.

Boone County sheriff's deputies were helping Columbia police with the search, sheriff's department Sgt. Brian Leer said.

CPD spokespeople did not immediately respond to inquiries seeking more information.
