Joint investigation leads to drug arrest in Ashland

ASHLAND, Mo. (KMIZ)

A woman was arrested after a drug raid in Ashland, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies and Ashland police officers searched a home in the 200 block of Ash Street as part of a drug investigation, the department said.

According to the release, several ounces of cocaine and meth as well as additional evidence of drug distribution were seized as evidence on Oct. 22.

Officials say 45-year-old Stephanie Morgan was arrested Friday.

Morgan is charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, according to court documents.

According to court documents, Morgan was released on bond.
