Patrol: Carthage child safe, suspect arrested
CARTHAGE, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Missouri State Highway Patrol sent out an Amber Alert Tuesday morning for a 2-year-old abducted from a southwest Missouri residence by a woman who is believed to be armed.
Trooper said at 11:16 a.m. the woman was arrested and the child was safe.
A tweet from the highway patrol said 27-year-odl Chelsea N. Greenlee is suspected of taking Brexlesss Greenlee from the child's residence in Carthage around 9:32 a.m.
Troopers said Greenlee was believed to be armed and may have threatened the child.
