Moberly Police arrested a Kansas City man after they say he threatened juveniles with a "gun" and then led police on a car chase toward Columbia.

According to court documents, Jeremy Hann is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a controlled substance, stealing a motor vehicle, unlawful use of a weapon, and resisting arrest by fleeing.

In the probable cause statement, Hann threatened four juveniles at a Casey's in Moberly. Witnesses say they were joking around and upset someone. Court documents say Hann threatened the juveniles with a "gun" that during the investigation turned out to be a bb gun.

While investigating the initial call, Moberly Police attempted to pull over Hann but he sped off reaching speeds in excess of 100 MPH.

According to court documents, Columbia Police helped stop the pursuit by using a spike strip near Rangeline and Prathersville road.

Moberly Police seized a black BB gun that was in truck. While running the plates for the truck, the truck was reported stolen out of Kansas City in Sept. Police also found meth inside the truck.

Hann's bond is set at $25,000. A bond reduction hearing is set for Oct. 5.
