Columbia Police arrest man for domestic assault, stalking

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia Police arrested Jonathan Heberlie after a Saturday incident where he allegedly entered the victim's apartment without the victim's permission.

According to the probable cause statement, Heberlie went into the victim's apartment on multiple occassions even scaling the outside of the building to attempt and enter her third floor apartment through the porch.

According to the document, Heberlie also told the victim he threatened to cut the victim's throat and run at cops with a knife so they might kill him.

The victim told police, Heberlie has shown up at various locations inserting himself into the victim's life.

Heberlie is charged with Stalking, Burglary, and domestic assault.

Heberlie's bond is set at $50,000 cash only.
